  1. If you lie down behind the front wheels and look under the car you can see the wishbone bushing. If you feel around it top and bottom of them you will feel the kidney shaped holes. Stuff them with grease! My view in this is that exposed grease attracts dirt and it can work its way into the holes and potentially increase wear, but what do I know? My wife is now happy there is no squeak which is what counts!
  2. The MOT went well, it passed fine, now all I need to do is rebuild the interior and finish off the small bits like bolt the bumper on fully and tie up any wiring behind the bumper from the automatic transmission.
  3. My 2023 A3 edition 1 has 19" wheels fitted with goodyear f1 tyres. I do not find them any noisier than the mk7.5 Golf gti my son has with michelin ps4 on 18" wheels but must admit would like a little less noise so interested in other comments. Roads around where I live have lots of broken surfaces and generate a lot of tyre noise. Better on motorways etc.
  4. I have a 2025 A3 Black Edition Tech Pack, The reason I never went Tech Pack Pro is because I don't really like sunroofs, bizarrely. Plus it advertises it as a "panoramic" sunroof.... it really isn't. And it is just something else that could require maintaining :). The only item I would of been interested in is the electric memory front seats, but it's not a game changer in my view.

Hi, I'm from Spain and a month ago i ordered a Q3 sportback with some extras. I've been told the manufacturing date is set and I expect to have it in Spain by the end of April.

I'd recommend getting it changed now as it's 6 years old.
  7. My guess is that the car has noticed the lack of charge 20 minutes after plugging in and is sending the report. (It is known as going to sleep, and some cars can not be awakened again until unlocked.) The Hypervolt charge point knows nothing of that and will begin charging at the scheduled time. Communication between charge points and cars is supposed to meet a certain standard, but apparently the standard is open to interpretation, so some odd behaviour is not unexpected. Is there an option to disable this report in the application?
