  3. welcome to the club!
  4. welcome michael :)
  5. a shot in the dark maybe that their is an air leak between the maf sensor and the engine. So maybe with the air leak then too much air getting in to the engine to what the MAF sensor is letting on. Total shot in the dark but worth checking the intake for leaks, splits or gaps. The only thing i can imagine that would not give an error code.
  6. welcome to the club mate

Defo need to book a slot for myself... just to have a go. not sure I would wanna spend 50k on a new one though. A lot of dough. Looks don't look too intimidating, until you launch off the traffic lights ;)
  8. james is right about MOT.. may cause issues.
  9. Have you tried ebay at all? When you are there also read the feedback on any of the Audi maps sold... happy punters usually mean good maps. might be worth a try.
  10. Hi mate and welcome to the club Do you have any form of warranty on the car? or did you buy privately? I would take it in and see if you can get an error code. If you bought privatly then you could take it to a small garage and get a code.. once you have that then you can research how to fix. Let us know how you get on mate

  15. Definitely looks like a cat converter to me. You may wish to find a used one from a scap yard as that will save you a few quid.

I agree with Boz, if it is DPF (diesel particulate filter) then you need to run it up the motorway. I usually run it in a higher gear slightly to get the revs up and this cleans the filter nicely. However, as your car is a 2000 model, I am not sure it has a DPF
  17. is the pics above when the car was riding low or is that how it is right now?
  18. I dont think you can alter the profile without changing the wheels. Why dont you take a look on ebay for 16 inch wheels. For instance these are on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Audi-A1-2010-2014-1-x-Alloy-Wheel-Rim-16-16-Inch-7Jx16H2-/191457479482?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&fits=Car+Make%3AAudi%7CModel%3AA1&hash=item2c93c14b3a
  19. Hi mate Loads of pics of the mat here https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=audi+a4+reversible+boot+mat&espv=2&biw=1472&bih=846&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=9BI2VYPpBozmau-BgdgO&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ
  20. I am pretty sure you can get away with it for a little while longer as its very low mileage. Maybe start putting some money aside for the change. However, if you want to be sure then I would get it changed. At least you will get that fuzzy feeling once it's been done.

Hi and welcome to Audi Owners club I would wait a few thousand miles to let her loosen up a bit. Also bear in mind that it will always be under what the manufacturer states unless you can run the car in the same testing enviroment
  22. No worries.. let us know how you get on and what gains you manage to get
  23. have you tried http://www.tdi-tuning.co.uk/
