  1. My 2014 A6 Avant 2WD does the same. It has standard factory fit Pirrelli 255/35/20's. It's tyre scrub when on full lock. Always has. Only notice it low speed when parking. I just assumed it was a consequence of the largest factory fit wheel size. I
  2. My 2010 A6 Avant Le Mans had a really handy feature: the boot 12v cigar socket remained powered even with ignition off and doors locked (I believe the ECU would monitor battery drain in this instance). Pretty sure it was standard. Interestingly, my C7 A6 doesn't have this feature. Check your boot socket if the A4 Avant is fitted with one.
  3. Thanks ENVY, sounds like a different S-Tronic gearbox to me. There are a few! Mine's an 0CK type (zero-C-K) - only takes 3.8ltrs gear oil.
  4. I found some answers if it helps anyone else. QLX gearbox code. ATF fluid capacity (initial filling at build 4.35 ltr) ATF change capacity 3.5 ltr. Part number G055529A2 MTF fluid capacity (intial filling at build 3.8 ltr) MTF change capacity 3.8 ltr. Part number G052549A2 No drain plug for MTF - have to drop the oil pump to drain. No filters as far as I can see for fluid change (yet...)
  5. There is a wealth of information out there regarding S-Tronic oil/filter changes - but it's all a bit contradictory. My car has covered 145k and has a full Audi history and it's due a gearbox oil change: The manual shows 38k intervals for oil/filter change. Having done a little research I believe my car has separate oils for the clutch units and the geartrain. Does the service interval relate to the geartrain oil or the clutch oil? I'm assuming both oil types will need changing at some point so the following info would help: ATF oil spec/part number. ATF filter part number. Geartrain oil spec/part number. Geartrain oil filter part number. Many thanks, Simon 09/2014 A6 Avant TDI2.0 R4140 A7 (CNHA engine code)
