5 out of 10 time's passenger door won't unlock with key remote?

With side lights on (first click) no rear lights fuses ok

Only just got the car

I have a Audi Navigation System, when I try to set the time and date it won't let me into the time and date setting all other settings are ok

Dash indicates right brake lights not working. They're OK except for the ones on the tailgate. Changed lamps they are OK, it's still on

Just to let you know, it turned out to be the cam shft censer, wich lives deep in the bowels of the engin. and cost an arm and leg

In the past nonth it has done this about 6 times. In the morning from cold it starts first time every time, runs great, now and agian i come to start it when warm and it turns over like a goodun but will not start. Try agian after about half hour, fires up first time. Called the AA out 4 times and had to cancel, it started before they got there. Any ideas help
