  1. Hi, I am sure that the Audi warranty covers cars up to 8 years old. I have the( Audi All In) which includes services, mot, and roadside assistance. as yet, I haven't had to use the warranty. hope this helps.
  2. Hi, I had the same problem on my 2017 a4 allroad last year, same place, o/s/r lower, I had mine replaced at an independent v w garage at just over £100. p.s. my brother, who has the identical car had his go as well on the o/s/r/ seems funny it is always the o/s/r. that goes.
  3. Hi, Great car, I had one in the same colour ,I kept it for 4 years, it never missed a beat. I'm sure you will be very happy with it. I now have the b9 model, another great car. all the best Brian.
  4. Hi Mohammad, If it's any help to you, I have a a4 allroad with the S Tronic gearbox, oil change is at 38,000. miles. Brian.
  5. If giddy 72 can't tell the difference between the diesel & the ad blue filler caps, I'm afraid it' looks like a trip to specsavers LOL.
  6. Hi, I have looked at your pics, and your q5 reqs add blue, just remove the filler cap to top it up. p.s. an indicator light in the dashboard should let you know when to top it up. hope this helps Brian.
  7. Hi, It could be that the wire into the brake pad has become dislodged, I had the same problem a while ago. worth a look. Brian.
  8. Hi Bendella, A good tip is to give the ball joints a good coating of anti seize grease, this will prevent any further trouble. hope this helps. Brian.
  9. Hi, If it is the 7 speed S Tronic gearbox fitted to your car, Then the oil & filters should be changed at 35,000. miles. Brian.
  10. Hi, According to my last service printout, S Tronic gearbox oil change due at 38,000. miles. but audi may have changed it in the past 12 months. the rest of your check list looks ok to me. Regards Brian.
  11. Hi John, Sorry to hear of your expensive engine problems, but i do think that Audi should have advised you that the timing belt was due change at 5 years. my car has been serviced with Audi from new, and on the bottom of the last 2 service invoices leading up to the car being 5 years old, it states that the timing belt/water pump is due change at that time. Please keep us informed of the outcome Brian.
  12. Hi Gareth, My engine is the 2ltr 190 diesel, I had my timing belt/ water pump replaced at 25,000. miles/5 years. regarding brake pads/disc etc, I usually change things like that myself. regarding breakdown cover, get you home/etc. is included. Regards Brian.
  13. Hi, I took Audi all in out back in November, then they had a special offer on for £539.00. I think it's good value, because 2 services will come to that amount, without 2 mot's, breakdown cover, and warranty. it is peace of mind for the next 2 years.
  14. Hi, I used to live in the highest village in Scotland for many years, driving an A4 FWD, we had some very bad snowfalls, I always had 2 spare wheels fitted with winter tyres, which I fitted to the front about November time, I found that with these tyres on, the car would go through very deep snow without a problem, believe me, they are well worth the extra expense. hope this helps Brian.
