I had the same. Had 3 c8 in a 6 month period. All handed back and finally got all my money back and bought a VW touareg R line tech. The finish was a little better in the Audi but the VW is head and shoulders about the A6 is every other way. Has seriously put me off buying another audi again. Especially coming from a 330d GT which was close to perfect.

Hi All I will update on the full story soon but basicaly i retuened the 1st A6 Avant I bought and under the 30 day policy have ordered a different car due to the faults with the first. The new car looked really dark but not black in the photos, turns out it is Vesuvius grey, I havnt seen another one of these for sale anywhere and its no longer and option on the audi website. Does anyone else have one, would it have been a 1 off colour or whats the story behind it? Thanks

My 40 tdi is exactly the same, pulling out of junctions ect isn't instantaneous, there is a pause, then the revs shoot up. I miss my 330d

I just bought a 2019 A6 s line, I was disapointed it didn't have privacy glass but I didn't notice until it was too late. When I was checking the specs online I noted that Audi states the A6 s line comes with privavcy glass as standard- could it be that when Audi bought it as a demonstrator it had this option de selected or is it just a lot lighter than the BMW I am used to? I also hav an A6 Avant c8 40 tdi but no quattro and experience exactly the same thing- it is a known issue with this gearbox/ car and alot of the reviews of the car talk about it. It does nothing then suddenly the revs jump and the front wheels struggle for grip. It's not an issue with your car its an isue with all of them.
