Its on both sides

Is it normal for water to drop from here behind front wheels comimg from arch area side skirt area thinking it maybe the drainage water gully or something

I was thinking it maybe normal it maybe the water drainage gully or something like that

Its on both sides and thats the water you can see the black patch on the floor

Is this normal for water to drip from here its on the front wheel behind the front wheel coming from the arch side skirt area

Just got my car sorted today took it to alternator specialist had alternator refurb done with new brushes new bearing and new pulley £80 sounding nice and quiet now thanks everyone who advised me really apreciated

Ye gonna get it tested if i need to replace it will go with a valeo or a bosch thanks gareth

And no never used jump leads on car

Hi gareth thanks for the info will look into the alternator and no the clicking only started a few days ago . The belt i changed about a month ago coz it started squeeking and the belt was glazed so i changed the tensioner and idler pulley at same time

Ye sorry stevey does the alternator voltage seem right then and thinking its the pulley at fault

Ok thanks magnet for the info what is the alternator supposed to be reading with engine on with load on and off thanks

Ive had new belt idler pulley and tensioner replaced about a month ago . The cars making a clicking noise and engine shaking when i put headlight on putting load on alternator thinking could it be the alternator pulley as alternator is reading 14.1 v and with headlight on its 13.7 v so thats ok so maybe the pulley gone

It only makes ticking noise when i put headlights on when i switch the lights off the ticking stops and the car vibration stops

Hi steve had diagnostics done all good jus came up with glow plug cylinder 4 circuit p0674 had a carbon clean too for 40 pound

Cheers for the heads up kev jus cancelled the carbon clean and jus getting diagnostic done thanks

The guy said it goes in your airbox or something and cleans all the carbon gunk out

Is that from carbon cleaning

Car is 2.0 tdi

Thinkining about having carbon cleaning done today and full diagnostics
