  1. Four months on now and sensor seems ok. I don’t think it is related but I am getting three beeps which sound like they are coming from the back seats/boot area. No warning messages or lights on dash. Only happens when the car is moving.
  2. I changed the sensor a couple of months ago, it was the £20 one off eBay and not had the warning since. Stop start is working fine too since the change. Only thing I noticed was that my brake pedal was really stiff just after I changed the sensor but then went to normal after the engine was running which I put down to the pressure equalising in the system.
  3. Had my £19.99 part from ebay in for 4 weeks now and so far so good.
  4. I paid £19.99 the seller was called parts-for-german-cars. Listing comes up if you search Audi A4 B9 Brake Booster Pressure Sensor. There’s a bit where you can check the compatibility with your car on the listing as well. There were some cheaper ones but not all were compatible with my model.
  5. Yes, quick press for unlock, long press and it opens
  6. I had a look through earlier bits of this thread and someone mentioned the B might be the improved version. Makes sense as this seemed to impact cars from a certain period, 16-18 was mentioned. If this is the case the B would make it easier to diagnose issues but does beg the question why they didn’t do this as part of a recall or service programme. The other thought was whether the eBay versions are more or less robust if they are based on the original, has anyone gone through more than one replacement? If so how long did the first replacement last?
  7. What is the difference with the B version, I got mine off eBay and I used the compatibility checker on the listing and it just had the numbers.
  8. I bought one of these off eBay, arrived in two days and just fitted it this afternoon. Brake pedal was stiff when I went to start the car but once car started presumably the servo kicked in and worked normally. Took it for a spin to check the brakes were working and seemed fine. Will be going on a longer journey so will report back if I encounter any problems.
  9. Hi, I picked up my Audi 2016 2.0 TDI Avant today from a non Audi dealer. I got the Brake Servo restricted message momentarily but it hasn’t come back. Stop start was working fine, drove about 150 miles since the message appeared. Is this warning supposed to stay on permanently or does it come back from time to time.
