You think something as a dirty glow plug could cause it to go into limp mode ?

I thought fuel additives were to keep the injectors clean.

You are correct about no milage.

In lockdown, it didn't come out of the garage for 14 months and now it's back out only goes to the Asda once a week, unless I have a hospital appointment. Haha.

The battery is on charge 24/7.

I was having door locking / unlocking problems befor I changed the battery, it's ok now.

I mean it could be an egr, dpf or turbo issue. 

I haven't done anything else yet.

The car is hoisted up with no wheels on at the moment.

The pressure bleeder won't hold pressure so have ordered another, be here tomorrow.

I'm going to use a pressure bleeder.

When bleeding brakes on a car with ABS, do you start on the wheel furthest away from the Reservoir or the one furthest away from the ABS ?

Just done this scan.

I was coming back from shopping this morning and the car was very hesitant to accelerate away.

I got going but it wouldn't accelerate.

I looked on the dash and the glow plugs/engine management light was on.

I parked on my drive, unloaded the shopping and started the car up to put it in the garage and the light didn't come on, revved it up and still no warning light.

Anyone had this happen and how much did it cost to have repaired ?

When all done and fitted I will power bleed thw whole system and see where I go from there.

it's on it's 3rd parking sensor module, first one didn't work so i took the nubers off it and bought a second hand one, that one didn't work was for an auto estate with towing pack, bought a brand new one from Audi using the part number from my original fitted one, still didn't work, contacted Volkstech in Maltby near me, told them the story and they told me that the module was the wrong module, seems the owner before me just bought any old module and fitted it, took it down to them today, they have managed to get my new module working with heads up display for rear parking sensor but unfortunatley can't get the front ones working as the module i have is a 4 port module and mine needs a 5 port module, so i have ordered yet another new one with the correct part number and hopefully that will sort that problem. (no Audi would not take the new one back i bought from them as i told them the part number)

have taken it to be re gassed on the aircon today only to be told that my condenser has stopped working, so now i need to get that sorted.

I have auto dimming, heated, folding mirrors on my 2009 A6 C6 and it didn't work on my car.

This is like my mirror switch.

I enabled mirror in the green menu but it was not in the central locking menu on the MMi

I tried this this morning on my 2009 A6 and it didn't work.

FOLDING MIRRORS

Key in ignition.  (no need to turn on )

Open hidden green menu  ....  hold  CAR & SET UP

In hidden green menu,  go to CAR.

Next ,,, CARDEVICELIST

Find mirror and enable it.

Exit hidden green menu ( HOLD CAR ) and restart MMI 3G system

After reboot go to car menu, central locking, and you’ll find option to automatically fold mirrors.

Turn on.

on the gille it says s line not le mans apparently according to the so called expert le mans had a le mans grill badge

mine has le mans front wing badges

mine does not have le mans rear badges which supposedly they all have......

The Lemans is an S-line with 19" 7 double spoke wheels, ambient lighting and Le Mans badges on the wings.
