  1. Fitted the part this morning - a pretty straight forward job after reading this thread and watching a great You Tube video from a guy called Dave Serl (below, others might find it useful). Took abut 4 minutes with a flathead screwdriver to unclip the part. I had pumped the brake a couple of times with engine off before making the change. There was a slight hiss as I took the old sensor off, but that was it. Closed bonnet, turned engine on and no more fault warnings, car seems to be running fine, have been for a few miles around the block and no issues so far on brakes, dare I say it all feels normal. Fingers crossed have avoided destroying my ABS system. I drove about 30 miles after the first warning came on as I was on my way home, braking gently, but did not drive another mile after I parked up. Goodness knows what might have happened if I'd carried on driving around whilst waiting to get a fix, as per the 'You can continue driving' message. Thanks to this thread I may have saved myself ££££, as I am just out of warranty...! For £80 the problem seems to have been solved. Hope everyone else avoids the worst as well. )
  2. I have just had my 2017 A4 serviced at Finchley Road. Two day s later I have had the Brake Servo: restricted message. I have driven about 25 miles since then in getting back home. I've found this thread thank goodness and have just been to Audi Oxford to pick up the replacement pressure sensor for £80. I haven't driven the car since and hope it isn't already too late for the ABS, and am going to change it tomorrow. The guy at Audi Oxford tells me they are selling a lot of these items, just goes to show how common the problem is. Pretty scandalous. Fingers crossed I'm not too late, but what a great thread!
