    afternoon all, so i wanted to try the google maps on my s1 mmi i get the error as per pic , so after a quick youtube look i went into the green menu, removed the cache, rebooted the MMI and tried again and it stays for about 5 mins on loading ( please wait ) and then goes back to the error Do i need to drive about? for it to start loading? It connected to my phone so must get data from somewhere ideas?

    For the last 3 months, once or twice a month i get the battery low message when starting the car maybe due to a 4 mile drive to work. i see a few solar panel 12v kits to top up the car when parked. Does anyone know if the cig lighter on S1 can be used with one of them small panels ( charge in and not a only a out ), or do i need to connect to boot battery and somehow get some wires longer and put on the front console

    See a few posts on message boards that for about £45 , you can retro fit drawers under the front seats in audi's.

    well a tune has been done via phantom tuning , great service, waiting to see if i can get a graph of the tune from their stored information.

    know fact a lot of a1 get burnt plastic on the connection in boot on the rear lights i have changed the wiring twice on a girl at work as it keeps melting the rear cluster

    100% go some where else they are more than likey charging say £150 a hour, at lease a day im guessing to for the work, thats £1200 someone at work got quoted 2k for a jeep to change the box . look on autodoc for prices on parts

    i have one, i got for £70 of amazon and used it a few times seems the owner before did a lot of mods so i still have like 100 credits to use helped a few people out at work scan their a1's

    stop and start kicks in after about a 3mile drive and when the car is warmed up. mine is set up as auto disabled on engine start and then i put on if i want it

    been working hard for 6 months and put some money away and think time ( now had service and tires done ) to get some add ons was thinking, just a induction kit, then a stage 1 map and 1 de res pipe to give a bit of sound as the pipes on the s1 are quiet thoughts?
