  1. Hi again MOT done at Audi and it passed! So it !Removed! should too.. But get this, MOT cost 49 quid, bit expensive I thought at the time but I did want the 1st Mot done by audi.. When I read the T's and C's it turned out it comes with some future MOT protection! What the frig is that I wundered so read on.. Couldn't believe what I read so took it up with Clair at audi. She confirmed it meant (I think) that come my next MOT (presumably at audi) I'm covered for upto £750 MOT protection (not sure now if there is any parts/labour split ie just parts) on my next MOT excluding wear n tear items (ie just about anything according to Peugoet). I've never experienced such a thing and I've have several make prior (not just Peugeot!) So the tow bar. Very impressed! It's a westfalier demount. Seriously cannot see anything when it's off (unless u get on the floor) If you are into tow bars but your like me and the last time you had one was back in the 90's on your BX, go on YouTube and watch a clip of like audi tow bar 2014. It's not me, not into uploading yet, not sure how but anyway my god they have moved on! Drop down electrics but with a new (probably European) connector that you twist onto not just push and clamp, but you do this with an adaptor then push and clamp. I had this great idea thinking I would see if I could replace the caravan plug with the new style but then realised it wouldn't then connect to partners car, maybe you can get the opposite adaptor? I've messed my own head up now! Ginger cake and custard is amazing! So this tow bar cost £510, not too bad at all in my opinion, was expecting more to be fair, I've know people who have paid nearly a grand for Passat etc. Will have to set the speed limiter to 60 now cos apparently if I go any faster I will blow out the windows on the caravan! Loving February up to now..
  2. Very nice car mate, best looking cab ever! and a decent engine too Hope to see some pics soon
  3. Hi My A7 Quattro does this too, I wundered if all quattros did this or just the big ones (or just mine) so I'm glad someone else has experienced it, it's quite a cool rumble, concerning at first. By the way, now running on winter tires and wheels and it still does it Phil
  4. New exhaust New cam shafts And shell v-power
  5. Manual box? Sounds more like clutch to me
  6. Hi all Just getting the hang of the forum at the moment Was a member of the 306 cabriolet club which this is quite similar I never know how to upload photos to these sites, do i need photo bucket or something?!? Anyway, hope you are as much fun as the Peugeot lads and lasses, they did shows trips and even camping! Got myself an A7 to go up and down the A483/A5 now (still got the little cab on the drive for sunny welsh road trips) If no one posts anything about the A7 i may just ramble about pointless stuff from time to time... Kind regards Phil
  7. Hi all Im new to the site, living in shropshire and bought my Audi A7 January 2014 Any tips for using the forum, please let me know. Tried to upload a photo of my car but as with ebay my photos are too big! So, just wanted to let you know I'm having a tow bar fitted at the end of the month (and 2nd MOT next week) all exciting stuff Phil
