  1. Aye. I had a direct report at work that put AdBlue in the Diesel and it destroyed the engine and cost the firm over £3K - and THAT is all i know about AdBlue. I shall now engage Google and find out.....
  2. Cheers all Thought I'd try here before Googling, as you would know. And you did! On the filler cap it mentions opening the AdBlue with the tool provided. Where will this live? fullsizeoutput_149d.heic
  3. So i took the plunge and bought this Q5 that I had been looking at. WR16 KRN It didn't have an owners manual with it, so I have some stupid questions, if you will please indulge me? :- 1. Where can I get an owners manual? 2. Does it use AdBlue (see pictures) as that cap looks like it doesn't come off without tools - I am an adblue virgin and have NO clue what to do. None 3. Should there be a spare wheel and Jack? There is certainly space in the boot and there is what looks like a sub-woofer which is wheel shaped - Can I get a jack and wheel for this, do you think? 4. Is there a way of getting the automatic rear boot to close without touching the button on the boot? Thanks in advance, team fullsizeoutput_149d.heic CarCheck WR16KRN.pdf
  4. I asked for cambelt change and he showed me in the manual that it's at 140K mileage I will get that done, regardless, at the next service EGR? DPF??
  5. That was for the remap only http://www.midcornwall.quantumtuning.co.uk/ DRS Performance quoted, £275 tuning only or £349 rolling road package
  6. Not 'in-depth' ? The car dealer has send me some screenshots from a service history certificate though?
  7. Hey there Gareth, I am after more MPG, as on average, once a fortnight I will be making a trip from Falmouth to Staffordshire so an increase in MPG is desirable
  8. Great advice, thanks Gareth I checked the tyres and the wear was pretty even. I might ask them about the kind of tyre and offer to pay the difference - great shout
  9. Been looking into this myself, got the following quote for £299 Original Power: 188 bhp Tuned Power: 225 bhp Increase: +20% Original Torque: 400 Nm Tuned Torque: 470 Nm Increase: 18% You may also see a fuel saving of up to 10% (driver dependent) as well as increased throttle response and drivability
  10. sorry - posted this twice - Admins delete the thread if you like?
  11. Hello chums, I am in the process of buying a Q5, 2.0 TDI Quattro S Line plus, reg WR16KRN and I wondered if one of the two previous owners happened to be on here? In general it looks a lovely car. I have test driven it and it has 82K on the clock but no rattles or knocks as it drove me up and down the road outside the showroom. The dealer is putting it through its MOT, and from the tinternet it has failed on a CV boot split. Dealer is putting 4 new tires on and will replace the faulty CV boot. Before i transfer the ££££ balance, is there anything specific to this model that I should look for? Thanks in advance
