  1. Finally got the car in for diagnostics and this is what I got back - Work Carried Out Confirmed fault, connected battery charger and ran GFF, confirmed fault P177C00, checked TPI's and found 2058137/8 which matches, removing of dual clutch is required to reset clutch pack as described in TPI, parts required listed on TPI, NOTE dual clutch should not require replacing however if damage is found once out it may be required. See TPI 2058137/8, NOTE - clutch will require removing
  2. Not sure if this is normal over time, but when I was changing the oil at the weekend, I took a photo of the bottom of the gearbox and mechatronic and noticed that it looks like it may have leaked at some point.
  3. Thanks, I thought that might be the case. I always panic when I have bits left over! 😊
  4. This has been going on for a couple of years now. Wouldn't it normally get worse over time?
  5. I picked up an oil filter kit that came with two O rings, one larger and one smaller. I know the larger O ring is for the oil filter housing, but I am not sure where the smaller one goes. My oil filter is accessed from underneath the car. Is the smaller O ring meant for a different style of housing or a different engine setup, or is there another place it is supposed to be used on this type of filter? Just want to make sure I am not missing anything before putting it back together. Thanks in advance.
  6. Cheers for the advice. I think the only way is to get checked properly. It's fine through the low gears, but if I give it some gas, it revs without any acceleration. It's only very subtle and usually between 6th and 7th gear.
  7. I’m getting this code coming up on my 2016 A3 S-Line 1.6 TDI and wondered if there’s anything I can do, or is it a proper diagnostic job at the garage?
  8. After an evening of trawling the internet, I think I’ve found the answer. The right-hand sensor in the photo appears to be the exhaust pressure sensor, while the other is the DPF pressure sensor, which should have only a single pipe connected to it.
  9. I’m not running Adblue, it’s a 2016 A3 sline 8V 1.6 TDI.
  10. Sorry, there are two pipes coming up and attaching to the bottom of the sensors.
  11. Does anyone know which of these pipes I should use to add DPF cleaner?
  12. I've had a quick look but can't see anything loose or unseated. After some reading up could it be something to do with the diesel particle filter or the throttle body needs cleaning?
  13. I've recently got myself a 2016 Audi A3 Sportsback. Car feels ok apart from if i give it high revs in sports mode the glow plug warning light starts flashing. It doesn't happen in economy mode. When i pull over and turn the car off and then restart it i get a warning about the start-stop function not working. Once home and the car has been left for a while the car in fine. Has anyone got any ideas how serious this is? Thanks
