  6. Turned out to be top mounts when I had a creaking noise. Was always worse in warmer weather.
  7. Sorry can’t help with op question but , does this function work based on electronically reading the cars speed or is there something in the car which picks up the actual noise level in the cabin ?
  8. You were right Steve!
  9. Thanks all for your ideas and suggestions. im fed up with it now ☹️ cant see anything obvious so ive booked it into my local Audi specialist for tomorrow. Got my MOT on Monday so dont want to mess about any longer. ill keep you posted.

  14. Neither front or rear washers are working. cant hear motors operating. Both front and rear wipers are working. Any ideas chaps? picture one shows "fuse" location picture 2 confirms this is windscreen washer system picture 3 is my actual fuse box with "fuse" identified according to my handbook picture 4 is the actual "fuse" which is a strange looking thing and as far as i can tell, appears to be intact

  19. Slightly miffed my question was deemed “criticism” and was not considered “worth commenting on” i was genuinely interested in the purpose of the switch as it maybe have been something I could incorporate into my own A3 dashboard. Never mind , I’ll move on
  20. maybe something in here!??? ...
  21. What was the outcome ? as i stated above , it has been fine for over 12 months but ive noticed the (very) occasional creak since the hotter weather what did they replace & did they say what was causing the noise? They changed the parts i supplied above...under my self diagnosis of the issue.
  22. as i posted ...above
  23. tahts pretty much the same sound as mine. as previously posted above, I had a few parts replaced and it was pretty much sorted but very ocasionally, it has started to do it again. im watching this thread with interest. fingers crossed your Audi specialist solves it for you. hope you post back here with their findings.
  24. Rather than create new post, probably better updating your original post 😉
