  1. Hi Samuel...welcome to the Forum I have heard that this is quite common across the later Audi range especially with the Bose system....which is surprising really. One way would be to remove door cards and panels and fit sound deadening pads to them and refit which would dampen the rattling, etc Cheers Trevor
  2. look forward to hearing of a successful outcome....fingers crossed
  3. Thanks for posting up the piccies of your pride and joy Nikki....looks very clean...job well done !
  4. We've got one pair left Darren...PM your name and address and I'll send some stickers out to you :-)
  5. Hi Matthew....welcome to the Forum I would advise to check that the coolant is not running low or overheating at any point but if not then I would definitely suspect the coolant temperature sensor or the wiring. I have found the wiring going into the plug attached to the sensor to be the problem a lot of the time so worth checking this first, if not the replace the sensor. Keep us updated on the outcome. Cheers Trevor
  6. It's getting very close to the replacement interval so to replace the water pump at the same time is the best all round solution with very little cost for labour to do the pump as well.
  7. Hi Chloe Here is a link to a thread we had on the forum w short while ago. Not sure if its the same problem you are having but if you don't get a free replacement from Audi then this may be a cheaper option Cheers Trevor
  8. Hi Shaun....welcome to the Forum To be honest, I'm not sure if they do. Best bet would be to ask dealer for part numbers for each generation of A4 and see if they are the same number....may work? Cheers Trevor

If you purge it with higher revs in each gear to keep things clean and allow the gases to flow under pressure then its not too much of an issue. As rbdazza has stated....short journeys do them no good !
  10. Hi Diogo Have you got the paddle shifters on the steering wheel? If not, then you should at least be able to shift the gear selector into S (sport mode) to allow better gear selection in the way you want.
  11. Hi Damion....welcome to the Forum Pop up some piccies of the A5 if you like Cheers Trevor
  12. Hi Ryan...welcome to the Forum Make yourself at home :-) Cheers Trevor

  18. Hi Bob I can't see anything on eBay for new units, as you say they are all used parts and may also be faulty or not last too long after fitting. You could however, widen you search with VW, Skoda, etc as they all look to be the same part....worth checking out? Let us know how you get on with it# Cheers Trevor

Certainly looks great in stock form....the RS4 grille will enhance it massively. Can't wait to see the new front end on it
  20. Sounds like you've got it sussed...it is surprising why not many people decide to give it a go. I know it used to be restricted to manufacturing around 3000 litres (if memory serves me correctly) is it still the same?
  21. Not entirely sure which ones would best suit your S4 My personal choice would be Pilots, they take a lot of beating for all round tyres. We're currently running a Tyre Poll to vote for tyres, maybe worth seeing what everyone prefers (although it doesn't mean they'll be good for your car though) Let us know what you decide to go with Cheers Trevor
  22. Hi Mike...welcome to the Forum That's a very small picture of your bright red A3 Good to have you onboard Cheers Trevor
  23. Hi Andrew...welcome to the Forum Smoking on startup could be many things including worn valve seals, blocked EGR, worn piston rings/bores, turbo....etc. Always best to run tests with diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause Cheers Trevor
  24. it could be many thinks, even something as simple as a vacuum leak
  25. lol....whatever gave you that idea Nikki ?
