Cheers, a couple places to start looking.. . The person I bought it off said it was always cutting out when she had it so I think it's likely a fault rather than bad signal. I'll update if I get any results. 👍

DAB radio.

While I wait for the repair on my (probably) oil oiler gasket got to thinking about the rubbish DBA signal in my 2009 C6. Admittedlyi live in a generally rubbish area for radio in general, FM is kak too, DBA drops out where ever i am, all the time. Is this normal? Anyone know if there a fix? Thanks in advance ☺️

Thanks for everyone's advice, was very helpful. I did some youtubing and realised it's way above my talent level. But almost certain it is the cooler gasket. Booked it in with my Audi man but can't see it for 3 weeks so off the road for now. I'll update when it's fixed 👍

In worried it might be too late. I've done probably 30 miles of (genuinely) gentle driving, haven't driven it since I realised what was happening. I'm really hoping a good flush will be enough, the engine sounded normal last time I drove it. I'm going to book it in tomorrow and find what the actual damage is, mechanically and financially... I'll update tomorrow 😕

Yes I did wonder about water in the oil, fairly sure that's not good. I'm used to building engines and stuff, but this is a level of uncertainty I'm not comfortable with, and the potential consequences of getting ot wrong are dire. I've just spent £1000 on a major service etc, so I'm rinsed and mildly miffed.

3.0T engine, 130k I should also explain the coolant remains clear, no evidence of oil. And the temp gauge never moves...

My coolant expansion bottle keeps emptying after about 6/7 miles, I suspected a leaky bottle cos I'd had that problem before but I changed it and it's still happening. Now I'm looking at the oil and it's not good, can someone confirm head gasket failure? Or another explanation for what's happening? Cheers Duane

I can't help with the adblue issue but as for diagnostics, think about buying a decent OBD reader. Mine cost £165 and can diagnose almost any issues from mechanical to electrical. Look up Topdon Diagnostic. Mine's saved me £100s and loads of time and agro 👍

I know it doesn't matter, the car has blue tooth for my Samsung, but I want to get the car's phone to work. 59 plate C6 with built in phone but it won't charge the handset. Admittedly the handset is from a different car, I was hoping there was a fix around that, but it's completely dead even with a new battery. Worth pursuing or scrap the idea and sell the handset?

Had my 59 plate C6 for a few weeks and I can't figure out how to get music onto the SD card from my CD'S, can anyone walk me through it? Cheers 🍻

Thanks, exactly confirmed what I hoped wasn't the case. Weird that my older 55 C6 does have that feature 🤔. On the subject of SD cards, mine has the slots and I've fitted one but do I need to upload music before o fit it or can I download directly from the CD's in the multi changer? Seems quite a complicated system, or it's made to feel that way by the over complicated wording I'm the handbook. Either way i cant work it out... Cheers

Morning, I've just upgraded from a 55 plate to a 59 plate C6 Avant and I can't work out how to amend the meta data on CD's (re name them) in the 6 disk changer. The CD name and track info comes up automatically with the same CD in the CD/DVD drive, but nothing in the 6 disk changer. All the research I've done has got me nowhere, can anyone help? I'm booked in with HazzyDayz in Markyate who can wire the C7 seats into my C6 so I think it's job done 😊

Ah, oops. Is it because the C7 bag creates a conflict with the C6 electronics? I changed the connector from C7 to C6, hoping that'll do the trick. I'm gonna talk to an Audi retrofit specialist on Monday, hopefully they can employ witchcraft to resolve the problem. If not I might have some very nice C7 S Line seats for sale.... Cheers

Evening all, had many Audi's but new to Audi owners club. I'm trying to fit C7 S Line full electric seats to my C6 SE. Physically they fit but a couple of the plugs are different. I've cut my airbag plug off my C6 and soldered it to the C7 seats but the red plug has many more wires of different colours and there's a box underneath the C7 seats that isn't on the C6 seats. Is this the kit for memory? Any advice how to make the adaption? I've attached a few pics for reference... Cheers in advance 👍
