  1. Yes I can't wait for next year. Colour choice will be 1st Panther black, crystal effect - 2nd Daytona grey, pearl effect - 3rd Monsoon grey, metallic, but I also like Sepang Blue, pearl effect and Misano red, pearl effect. I am positive my wife will have some input on the colour.
  2. I have been looking at different Audi, BMW and Mercedes Cars in recent weeks, actually my wife really likes the Merc GLA 250 4Matic with the AMG Pack which I liked at first but reviews are not the best and the DCT Box I am not sure about especially when you compare it with the S-Tronic. My money would not stretch for the fast "45" version. I have been the proud owner of Audi cars for 11 years and I will place an order for the S3 S-Tronic Saloon some time between March and June next year and this car will be a dream come true for me. This car will give me everything and more that I want in a car.
  3. I went for a test run yesterday in a S3 Saloon Cabriolet. What an outstanding car. I was pleasantly surprised with the suspension which gave a comfortable ride, the lack of in-cabin wind and road noise was brilliant, the absolutely fantastic S-Tronic Gear-Box, the mad acceleration just blew me away, the exhaust tone was singing to me beautifully and the look of the car was just out of this world. It was an hour well spent at my local dealer Audi Sinclair Bridgend South Wales and I am still on a high.
  4. Who's a lucky girl then............. Great looking cars!!!
  5. Welcome to the club forum Laura. A new S3 now we are talking, hatchback or saloon? How do you find the S-Tronic box? I have an A4 2.0TFSI S-Line with manual box 58 plate reg' from new with 46,000 miles on the clock and I'm going to change it next year for a new A4, A3 saloon or a Mercedes Benz GLA 250 4Matic or a VW GTI. I previously owned from new an A3 2.0 TFSI SE 05 plate reg' with manual box. The best of luck with your new S3 and it looks like an exciting driving experience ahead for you. Alun
  6. Job done £23.42 for dome removal and 2 new bulbs. Technician found a loose bulb that had broken and was moving back and forth. Technician also replaced the good bulb with a new one just in case the same thing happens in the near future. Thank you Audi Sinclair Bridgend. I am more than happy with my diagnostic check and solution find by using "voice record" of my mobile phone. I would advise for any noise related irritations in the car to use "mobile phone voice record) as long as it was safe to do so. Thank you James for the interest that you showed. Yep one happy bunny here.
  7. I think I have found out what the problem was and how I detected where the noise was coming from. Whilst reversing my car and then braking to stop I held my mobile phone and recorded the noise from my driver's seat. The noise was much more noticeable near the dome courtesy lights and believe me or not I noticed that the left-hand bulb was not working, I have not driven my car at night time in our summer so I had not noticed it was not working. Trip to my Audi dealers in the morning for a fix.I wonder if the bulb has worked loose?
  8. Hello from South Wales, UK. I am an owner of a "58" plate A4 S Line 2.0 TFSI with just over 45,000 miles on the clock and had the car from new having previously owned an A3 from new. I have a front cabin noise which sounds like plastic knocking or rubbing against plastic, for example a pen sliding back and fore. The noise can be heard from stop-start whilst engaging first gear and extremely more noticeable whilst reversing and braking very hard. The car had a major service in early September and also passed it's MOT with flying colours. I think the noise could have developed after the visit to a main Audi dealership but I do not know for sure. I have removed all loose articles from inside the car that could have possibly been the cause and have checked all that I can without any luck. I thought the noise was coming from the front arm rest area. Family and friends think likewise or the driver's front door area. Before I contact my Audi dealership I would appreciate any input on the issue. Thank you in advance.
