Did you get one ? I got a 3ltr diesel one a few months ago and just couldn't be happier. Averaging 38mpg and get up to 45mpg on the motorway on a long distance. I just can't praise this car enough.

I have a 2013 3.0 TDI A5 coupe and not had any of the above problems but I read somewhere the problems were ironed out with the facelift versions. I would take it to an Audi dealership to have it checked out as it is obviously a recognised problem. As a footnote Scotty13 I see you are in Caithness, my old hometown is Wick.

Now I'm getting worried. Audi must be aware of this increasing problem. Anyone know if it is being addressed ?

It has the A5 and TDI Quattro but no 3.0 on it.

Bear in mind that so far I have been driving it very carefully and virtually within the speed limits so I expect these figures to change a bit after I get used to the car and drive more like I normally drive 😱 I do enjoy the fact is does not say 3.0 on the back.😚

I am completely overwhelmed by how good the fuel consumption is. Chester to north of Aberdeen, a distance of 428 miles gave me 45.3mpg. Around town here I am getting mid to late 30's. I really didn't expect to get anywhere near this.

Yes. We live right out in the country and our road covers in snow very easily hence the reason we must have a 4 wheel drive and also why I had to go the quattro route. Well, that's my excuse anyway 😉

Guess what? I flew to Manchester yesterday and they collected me, took me to Chester where I collected the car and drove the 440 miles home. What a drive, never had so much fun. This car is incredible. Comfortable, very quick and handles like it is on rails.

Bought a 2013 black edition 3.O tdi coupe wnhich I will get on Saturday and was wondering if it has bi xenons i.e. Main and dipped. Does anyone know?

Just bought a 2013 Black Edition A5 3.0 TDI Quattro Coupe. Don't actually get it delivered until next Saturday so it is going to be a long week. First automatic I have ever owned and first 3ltr. too. It is in Moonlight Blue Mtlc. and looks as sweet as a nut. Can't wait to get it and looking forward to being an active member on this forum.
