  1. Hi, I had the multitronic gearbox in a 2006 Tdi A4 and had a known issue happen to it, the ecu in the gearbox breaks down and has problems, it was resolved with a new ecu at £1200. Apart from that great gearbox, seamless gear changes and no other issues. Mine was a later gearbox that had the better clutch. I suspect though the multitronic boxes now may be better but can't say for sure
  2. Hi, when I had a similar attachment in my A4 all I done was Google "iPhone 5 cradle for A4" for instance. in your case whatever phone you have and then A3 cradle, it should show images of what you need and you should be able to get a part number, I've attached the image of the cradle I had for my A4, this then attaches to the what you have in the car already and your phone sits within this. hope it helps
  3. Hi That is just the cradle mount that's wired into the car. You need to buy a cradle for the phone you have, this then attaches to what your picture shows and the phone sits in the purchased cradle, it should then charge the phone and give the phone better signal. Cant help on the other point though, not that clued up mechanically.
  4. Hi i had a A4 B7 2006 on 18" wheels 235/40/18, I had Avon ZZ5's and Hankook Evo Ventos 2, both very good rated for db, grip and fuel. Both very good and black circles gave a better price than othe tyre fitters
  5. Hi I've just got an A4 S-line with 19"s on it and Continentals, I've noticed in the short time I've had it to do this. I used to have a 2006 S-line with 18"s and had Avon ZZ5's and Hankook Evo Ventos 2 on them and they were good, quiet and were stable.

    MPG

Hi George You should be able to keep clicking the button on the end of the wiper stalk, this should display various MPG figures including current and average as well as miles travelled on journey and how many miles left in tank. Regards Jeremy
