  1. I had the realignment of the radar done yesterday by Harrogate Audi. Initially they said it will be a warranty repair but later said the the radar is misaligned due to a knock against a bollard or something which will cost £360 to do the realignment. I told them that is it not possible as there is no damage to the bodywork. I personally believe that it was not fixed properly and gradually led to a misalignment. But I got it repaired by paying the £360 as I use the Driver Assist system frequently. I told Harrogate Audi that I am going to take it up with Audi UK. I wrote to Audi customer complaints explaining that I did not cause the fault and they should authorize the repair under warranty. I haven't heard from the yet, but I am not very hopeful anyway. Anyone else had similar experience?
  2. Thank you, Steve. My car is booked in with the dealer tomorrow. I will know hopefully what went wrong and how they would fix it tomorrow and will post the deatals as soon as I know.
  3. I have a 67 reg audi a3 s-line with the driver assistance pack. Just after 8,000 miles ACC, Audi pre-sence and everything else related to it stopped working. It says refer to the manual. thoroughly washed and cleaned where the camera is and no windscreen replacement. I have booked it in with the dealer to look into the issue. I hope that they can sort it out on the day and it is a repair under warranty as I bought the car brand new on 1st of Sept, 2017?? Anybody had the same issue, please let me know how you dealt with it. Thanks.
  4. Congratulations, Noirpool! I suggest you go to a parts department of an Audi dealership to find out what MMI version I have or what colour lead to buy... green, yellow, red, white. Enjoy your new motor, mate!
  5. Thank you so much, Steve. The wheels are 18 inch on the s-line, but I am not going to compromise too much as they look really good on the a3. At lest suspension being 15mm higher with SE suspension (dynamic suspension) hopefully make the ride good.
  6. Thank you, Magnet. I went for the s-line trim for 2 reasons: (1) I wanted to have the technology pack which the new SE model cannot have as an option, (2) Yes, I liked the looks of the s-line better with features such as LED headlights and other features that come with it. For me, ride comfort is more important than 'throwing it round corners'. So, perhaps I made the right compromise by going for the s-line but with downgraded suspension??? - I did not get the opportunity to test drive both versions unfortunately. Hope there are advanced members here who have experienced both. BTW, this is my first ever Audi! Thank you again, Magnet.
  7. I just ordered a new audi a3 Sportback s-line. Based on what car and carwow reviews (and a few others such as Honest John) , I asked them to downgrade sports suspension to dynamic suspension (as on SE models). This is because 60% of my driving is on local B roads and A mostly. I still have time to change my mind to revert back to standard sports suspension. Any advice/experience you have had on sports and SE suspension, deeply appreciated.
