yes your absolutely right. 2 sd card slots and 1 SIM card slot even though my phone connects via Bluetooth which I don’t also understand why I have a sim slot?

No joystick just the big round dial to turn to make selections. i think it’s MMI 2G

Hi i would like to put AUDI MUSIC INTERFACE into my A8. Is it possible to remove my cd changer in the glovebox and replace it with the AMI unit or is there another way? I have read there is normally the ami socket in the glovebox or under centre armrest which I have looked but no socket unfortunately. i thought I would just pick peoples brains first before buying the ami unit or retro fit kit As I am not sure? thank you

Hi all i can’t access the hidden menu in mmi by pushing car/setup buttons. I have read I might have to update my software? But can someone tell me if I have an old version by the pic I took? And what version software I need to look for on eBay for example? sorry not sure what to look for?? Hence asking on you nice people

I don’t tend to play a lot of cd’s but more playing music from my iPhone hence why I’m thinking of taking out cd to replace with ami unit

Hello on my mmi set up I have some settings that I have pictures I took below. my question is. I have bought an AMI unit. If I fit it would it appear in the AV1 or AV2 settings? in my glovebox I currently have the 6 cd changer and another unit that has 2 SD card slots & a SIM card slot but if I take out the cd changer can I put the AMI unit in its place?? would appreciate any information thank you

I thought this button was for heated windscreen? if not can a heated windscreen be fitted?

Hello on my A8 heater controls there is a button for heated rear window but also for heated windscreen but the screen is not heated. does anyone know if I replaced the screen for a heated one would the wiring be there to connect to the new screen?? any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi does anybody know where I can buy replacement number plate lenses for a a8? My ones are cracked. I have 2 both having 2 screws in each. i have looked on eBay but they all have one screw fixing many thanks

Hi all i have noticed on my a8 the auto door locking feature when you pull away doesn't always lock the front doors as I especially notice the little red light between the lock/unlock buttons on door is not lit up. Other times the red light is lit up indicating the door is locked. anyone else experienced this? Please and is there a reason or solution? As I find this feature useful and a good security measure. many thanks

Thanks Paul. i've been told that the wipers are from main Audi dealer for about £80 only for A8 which I find hard to believe? have you ever been told this? And have you used Bosch blades at all? Could you also tell me what inch blades I need? Seen some Bosch for around £30 which is a big difference many thanks
