Sounds great. Have you had any waterproofing treatment done on the roof during this process?

Just to add if you're needing someone to fit it, then it's worth looking at autologics or Audi retrofits as members have used them and been pleased with the results.

Got pea e if mind you could get a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up. Alternatively give it another week to see how you get on.

Ok. So audi recall was for airbag they also changed the inlet manifold and did a software update but as that was some months ago. They didn't say why and what it was for. Gonna try getting hold of a full vcds reader hoping that will have better chance in getting a code up than the garage.

This is the first you have mentioned of a software update at Audi. What equipment in particular was updated and why? Unless you give us the whole story we really can't help you. -
So mechanical has been over and he is stumped battery ect is all good his advice was its software or electrical as his cpu is good but not perfect. It's recently had a software update at audi wen it went in for a recall. Could this be a problem?

Hi all, after several trips to the dealer I brought the car from, he ended up taking it to audi ended up having a complete new steering wheel,paddles buttons control ring and cruise control switch, then all new bits coded to the car bill came to 3.9k including all the labour. Problem solved at last 馃憣
