Exactly, I was shocked when I found out. Definitely worth looking for speaker adapter kits first.

For "lower pulley" do you mean the crankshaft pulley? Thanks! -

Thanks for the reply. I shouldn't really be surprised by this, as I actually work for a car manufacturing company and they do everything they can to cut costs. To them it's all about the bottom line, they all say the customer comes first but in reality it's profit first. Customer satisfaction is a secondary thought. Wonder why there is no brand loyalty anymore. I was actually thinking of the aftermarket route when I asked the question, just can't find any info on the speakers like I said.

Could it be an issue with the injector seals or flow plugs?
-
Definitely don't rule out aftermarket upgraded items from pioneer, JVC etc. Have a look at this regarding B&o speakers: https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/25250-b-o-is-it-genuine-or-just-a-rip-off/

Nice one, sounds like the A6 is in good hands. Whilst the front is off for the cambelt and water pump it might be worth replacing the lower pulley as mine nearly fell off! And the thermostat whilst he has easy access. -
I tried Bosch Aero Twins as they were the recommended result at another retailer for my reg and they didn't fit either.
-
Yep their results were the same as Halfords

I have to make you aware of the legalities of it as a staff member. I fully understand why you went down the remap route. This is the thing, regardless of how old audits become the servicing is always expensive.

Welcome Tim, and thanks for joining. Washer jets at arms can be a bit of an aftermarket problem area. I tend to deal with Parts in Motion at Exeter - worth giving them a ring and talking it through - they are generally very helpful. I’ve had a similar issue with a non-Audi, but found a pair of Bosch Aero -twin? could be fitted. O.E could have been Valeo, so worth an investigation on that front too-? Let us know how you get on Tim. Kind regards, Gareth.

Hi Everyone I recently traded in my 2016 A7 for a 2021 Audi S7. So far so good but noticed the wiper blades need changing. The jets come out the arm on the S7 rather than out the front on my old A7. So I went onto Halfords.com put in my number plate. The new blades arrived and they aren't compatible, none of the adaptors fit and the body of the blade is too wide/long to fit. Took them to the store, showed their technician the existing ones and their technician says they don't sell those type of blades at all so their website is wrong! Same issue with another retailer. Asked my local VWAudi specialist garage who said they can source a pair from TPS for £95! Can anyone point me in the right direction please or is this my best (expensive) option?

Hello there, I'm back again! Here's my first week of usage of my new C5 2.5 Tdi. Actually the car is still with me and not in the mechanic's shop due to some delays on other cars in his shop... but it will be soon there! In fact I made a "To Do List" for the mechanic just to track down all the flaws and problems the car actually has and has to be repaired or enhanced, such as: Timing belt + water pump + auxiliary belts Control arm kit Automatic transmission oil + filter kit (ZF 5HP19) Check and clean all radiators (including the transmission cooler. The transmission shifts and downshifts very poorly once operating temperature is reached. Possible issue with the transmission thermostat) EGR valve Swirl valves Excessive smoke under medium to heavy acceleration (EGR?) Check turbo and intercooler pressure and vacuum hoses Warm air from vents when climate control is off (possible issue with engine thermostat or cabin heater core) Injector sealing rings (cold start difficulty with accompanying bluish-white smoke) Install Bluetooth system in car radio (ask electrician friend) Brake pedal very hard, and brakes "stick" briefly after pedal is released. Possible brake fluid issue Power steering pump sometimes noisy. Check fluid level and replace if necessary Check rear suspension height Check and replace dual-filament rear brake light bulbs if needed Replace windshield washer pump Apart from that, she sits quite happily on the road again! -

Yeah know it's illegal but it was either that,or, a god knows how much bill replacing parts that actually where working as the garage I took it to for diagnostics could only narrow it down to either the adblue pump (£800+) or an injector (£600+) and they couldn't even say for deffo it was either one. To be fair I did speak to somebody at Audi and he said he'd never know a pump to fail and was more loto be one of the lines. But needed the car for work, so....went with the map. Car feels great though. Picks up better, smoother the all the gears. Drives like it never has since we had it. It's 10yrs old this year and feels like new. Do like Audi engines just !Removed! expensive to keep on the road.

Hello again lads After a bit of advise again if possible. Rear door mid speakers have blown BOTH sides if you can believe that (blame the missus, she does crank the sound up). Anyway can't find any info on line about them. I know the part number but not to interested in paying Audi prises. So does anybody know anything about the power output and the frequencies and the ohms. Not planning on replacing everything so I would like to just get something that will slot in with the system all ready in the car. Part number for the original is 8K0 035 411 made by some company called ASK Industries in Poland. I always thought we had th B & O system but apparently not they have a "A" suffix Thanks Simon

Could be leaky injectors. Not suggesting you replace the injectors. You could pull them, clean and replace the copper seating washers. Not sure if there’s an ‘o’ ring on the main mode of the injector too? If you do pull them, replace the bolts, they are stretch bolts and torque to yield, once only. Use a little ceramic grease on refitting. If an injector was damaged, I’d expect a further error code. Any new injector needs to be coded to the car. P0420 error likely to be inefficient catalytic convertor. Not sure any of the off the shelf products work. If it were me, you could try Forté products, including injection cleaners. Another option is to access primary oxygen sensor to inspect the cat itself. A lot of work, yes, but only way to confirm visual inspection with endoscope camera (with light) that works with your phone, just to be sure it’s not broken up. Bear in mind this was a crash damaged car.

Don’t skimp on budget is my advice. I understand you’re looking at B&O, but that needs to dovetail with car model, engine and gearbox and even colour. B&O was expensive feature, so it’s not likely to be found on poverty spec car. If you find B&O, then it’s bound to have leather, folding mirrors, possibly virtual cockpit would be my experience. Retrofitting anything is expensive, and usually you need VCDS to remove codes, even if plug and play. I know this is on an Allroad brochure (2017), but it elaborates on the comfort and sound packs. https://autocatalogarchive.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/Audi-A4-Allroad-2017-UK.pdf Trim level aside, you want history and lots of it. On cars that have been on long service intervals, personally I’d give them a wide berth. No oil should be in the car for 18k miles. Be prepared to travel too, once you’ve done your due diligence checks. Additional checks such as Car Vertical which you pay for are useful.

VCDS Hex2, absolutely no question. You can source from Gendan. You get OBD cable and lifetime updates. 3 VIN licence will cover your car, plus whatever you source in the future. Works across VAG range of cars. On air suspension, if you’re fitting yourself, you might even need specific feature to ‘relearn system’ after installation, similar to panoramic sunroof synchronisation or one touch windows. On VW Golf 8 for example, you can’t even swap out rear pads without access to ODIS which is dealer level software, so you can see the way things are going.

reverse camera intermittent blue screen on A4 Allroad 2021
Mart65 replied to rookiediver's topic in Audi A4 (B9) Forum
Hi. Just wondering if Audi resolved the camera issue? Mine has been in 4 times over the last 18 months and always not fault found. They had the car for four weeks once. Said they’d updated the software and it worked fine for 3 months. it’s just frustrating as you never know if it will work or not then sometimes it’s starts as the blue screen and then after 10 or 15 seconds it’s as it should be -

So two weeks in and i am loving my A4. But I want to add my own touches too it. So I want to add an SLine badge to the front grill. Looking through Ebay etc there are so many to choose from. Does anyone know the correct one for the B9.5 with the Hex Grill.

Definitely worth speaking to autologics or Audi retrofits regarding android auto to give you an idea of cost. Check YouTube for buyers guides. Regarding quietness all the cars will have the same sound deadening etc. Check this thread regarding B&O https://www.audiownersclub.com/forums/topic/25250-b-o-is-it-genuine-or-just-a-rip-off/
