  3. THOUGHT THEY ARE PLUG AND PLAY SOMETIME HAVE TO TAKE BATTERY OFF TO RESET EVERYTHING LIKE
  4. My case relations manager who is handling my case has now gone on holiday and they’ve told me no one else can help me til he’s back! I’ll keep pushing to find out about this warrant, thank you. Who was your dealer? Thank you so much for your help!
  5. Thank you for your help. Audi UK said they can’t help me as Audi Bristol won’t support me as I’m out of warranty. Hope you get your issues sorted.
  6. I don’t blame you, I hope you get an answer soon it’s frustrating they don’t seem to be taking responsibility for this issue. I can’t get Bristol Audi to budge as they are adamant there is no known fault and the 7yr warranty on 48v system alternators are only for Q7 so I have to pay the full amount as I own an A3. Audi UK have said there is nothing they can do. I hope you have more luck with them than I have.
  7. Simon was very helpful and even gave me the email address if Audi Executive to complain. I am happy if you mention me.
  8. Mine failed in February this year, contact Simon Gray at Bath Audi.
  9. I had realised euro 7 was coming. I've heard next year even electric cars have to pay ulez!
  10. Yes it does have a mild hybrid 48v system. Is there any way I can prove it is covered by the 7 year extension. Would you mind telling me how long ago Audi Bath repaired yours? Bristol are still saying no today, not sure whether I’m fighting a losing battle. Thank you for your help really appreciate it.
  11. Could it also be an issue with the turbo if it's not kicking in?
  12. Today
  13. @Steph1234 I have an A6 Allroad, which was covered under the extended 7 year warranty. If you go on the government website for vehicle recalls you can check by model/year. It is referred to as the starter generator.
  14. Does the A3 have the mild hybrid 48v/12v system? If it does then it should be covered by the 7 year extension. My RS6 was repaired by Mon Motors who own Bristol Audi but at Audi Bath.
  15. Did you transfer the door modules from the old doors to the new doors? As this could be the issue
  16. Fairly sure it is. I'm now bias but it felt more planted and less pitch and roll. Not to be too blunt about it but these are mile munching exec cars with some added oomph. I regular do 275 mile trips without a stop, get 41+ MPG while still 'making progress', have some fun and I get out ready to do a days work. My wife hates it, too big and too many lights and buttons but this just given me more opportunity to drive it. The difference between Eco and Dynamic is marked in mine but even in Dynamic the 4-wheel steering maybe making some of the sensation you are expecting, compared to my E350d Merc I had before it took some time to get full attuned. Interestingly I have a client that took delivery of an RS6 at the same time as I got my S6, he has no idea what's under his right foot as he doesn't use it and his eats tyres, maybe that how they make it feel more direct! Can you get Matrix headlights on the current S6? I was told mine was one of the last to get them because of component shortages and Audi wouldn't be reintroducing them until the next gen was released.
  17. Bought my audi over a year ago its been having some bodywork done to it recently and I had to get 2 new doors which was the front drivers side door that came with no door card. And a passengers rear door. Since changing the doors the passenger side doors dont lock abd windows dont work I've checked the wiring loom on the drivers side and it had split wires so I replaced the loom and still no luck. Any indications on what it could be?
  18. Excellent, thank you for contributing your direct comparisons. is there any other not so immediate and obvious perks with the air suspension? the sales chap was guiding me around an RS6 being the closest he could demonstrate and mentioned that in dynamic mode it will lower the suspension slightly and also has adaptive ride height. Is this the same for the Vorsprung S6? Does the car feel like it’s a 2.5t car with this air suspension or more agile? I noted in the courtesy car I was given 2020 TDI 50 I drove with the s suspension with damper control it felt like it gripped well but felt heavy and some what unresponsive going over bumps in the road sort of like the older models of range rover sport where the weight shifted and you felt the suspension stiffen up with a little body roll but otherwise you’d have to lift off the throttle to shift the weight back onto the front of the chassis for the feedback when taking a tight corner or bend with a mild gradient spiritedly. Wasn’t quite the directness I was hoping for in a saloon/estate Quattro. having said that the RS6 seem to have this addressed.
  19. Thank you for this. I’ve been told that by Bristol, Audi A3s aren’t covered and it’s only Q7s that have an extended 7year warranty. I don’t know if this is the case? They are refusing to help me as I hadn’t had my latest services at their branch and I’m out of warranty by 5 months. They’re also saying I may need to pay for a new battery as well as a 2k alternator. I’m glad yours was able to be repaired.
  20. In the future, however, I would still consider matte black or gloss black, but in the end I decided on a copper colour for another model, even though I was still thinking about the granite colour that many people had urged me to go for.
  21. Hiccups or erratic engine operation at certain RPMs can be caused by problems with the ignition system or fuel system. Ignition misfire or erratic fuel delivery can cause unstable engine operation. Additionally, if the fuel injectors are contaminated or damaged, this can lead to erratic fuel delivery to the engine, affecting engine operation at certain rpm. I would also consider damage to the exhaust system, such as leaks, holes or damage to the muffler, can affect engine performance under certain conditions, including at certain rpm, or damaged or malfunctioning sensors, such as the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) or throttle pedal position sensor (TPS), can affect engine performance under certain conditions.
  22. I paid something like 1400€ for the flywheel + about 700€ of work. But I would rather also change the double clutch when it is already in one job, so a total of about 3000€ (unfortunately)
  23. I have also seen that the aftermarket ones for our cars are very hard to find or out of stock everywhere !!! Can I ask how much the dealer charged for the original part.
  24. Hello, at the top of the door, are there tweeters (the ones near the mirror) or is that grille just for decoration? (since there are speakers for high speakers near the windshield, in the dashboard). Tutuapp 9Apps
  25. hello, the manufacturer LUK wrote to me that the flywheels are different, so unfortunately they cannot be exchanged. The spare part from Luk for the 40tdi should be in stock by the end of June (in the Czech Republic). Unfortunately I couldn't wait that long and took the original part.
  26. Hey all! Given the wealth of records available from anyone, I'm soliciting for a bit bit of recommendation. My vehicle has continually had this difficulty, while accelerating with the throttle extra than 50% depressed, the automobile will every now and then hiccup (much like hitting a rev limiter or gasoline reduce?) It does it perhaps best a few times and it happens simplest after kickdown. New spark plugs and plug wires did not do the trick. I desired to get a few advice earlier than searching into pricer stuff just like the cap + rotors or EZL. 192.168.100.1 192.168.1.1
