Abs light and auto gear not changing

Hi all. Strange one this. When my abs esp warning lights come on dash my auto box runs perfect but as soon as the abs warning light dosent come on my gear box wont chamge gear. It works manually and in s mode just not auto. Any ideas

I have similar issues with my A3 2006 if I have the stereo on loud the automatic transmission either slips out of gear or just doesn't change up at all?? I can't seem to get a straight answer what's causing this either?
