Featured Replies

2005 2.0 TDI avant

Doing 75miles per day

on Thursday the alarm started going off ( 60seconds) after the car has been locked

Friday Morning the battery was flat.

fitted a new battery today (no BEM Coding done) and alarm is still activating

I looked for the siren (to unplug it) but it seems to be coming from the Engine ECU?

I dont have diagnostic - so

1 Any suggestions?

2 do I really now need the vag com CD and cable to my car to the new battery and find out what is setting the alarm off - if so can you recommend a kot for me to buy?
