Hello,

My ashtray does not stay closed, when pushe it does not catch in the closed position. I can wedge a penny in to keep it shut as shown in the picture.

The same is true to the box above, the lid won’t catch in the closed position so it just stays open.

Does anyone have any experience fixing these issues?

Hi Andy, these are common issues on Audi's from this era. My a6 suffered the same with the cupholder. Needless to say I had to replace it as repairing it wasn't an option.
