Steve Q's post in steering ring centre badge ring was marked as the answer
I think it's clipped on. You might find it's cheaper to replace the whole airbag from a used one from eBay.

Steve Q's post in Drivers door window issue was marked as the answer
No you should be able to I think. I think it'll depend if it has canbus which was first introduced either in 2003 or 2004. My A6 is pre canbus so it's slightly harder due to the system not being as complex as later ones. But either way a competent mechanic should be able to diagnose it.

Definitely the best option. As let's face it, the screens got to come out anyway.

Steve Q's post in 8V S Line towbar was marked as the answer
I had a towbar fitted to my ford Kuga daily by buzz towbars. They come to you to fit. Very knowledgeable and highly recommend.

Steve Q's post in 'Parking System' option greyed out in 'Car' Menu was marked as the answer
I'd recommend a diagnostic check to see if any fault codes flag up as it could be a
N issue with the sensor, wiring or module

Steve Q's post in Non S-Line to S-Line steering wheel? Audi A3 8V PFL was marked as the answer
Wheel will physically fit but you'll need the clock spring from the donor car, air bag and wiring.

Steve Q's post in About to buy one. What should I look out for? was marked as the answer
The dealer should be able to tell you what service history it's got prior to buying even if they can't physically give it to you until you buy it.

Steve Q's post in engine wiring BKN to the CGK was marked as the answer
My advice would be to take the wiring harness, ECU, injection pump and maybe instrument cluster from the donor car. As the imobiliser is linked to the ECU, cluster and pump.
You could risk it and hope its compatible and/or get an auto electrician to wire up the harness.
Also I've hidden your other thread as it's a duplicate.

Steve Q's post in Does ACC come with Tech Pack Pro ? was marked as the answer
Yes it can be retrofitted but it's expensive and could void your warranty. You'd be better asking the dealer if it can be fitted now.

Think it could be the rod that attached to the door handle.

You're lucky. I'd still recommend a gearbox oil change to be on the safe side

From looking online this spec is very rare.
I'd estimate it's worth between 2-3k.

Steve Q's post in AUDI A6 AVANT (19 plate) REAR SEATBELTS CHIME DEACTIVATION. was marked as the answer
You will find it is an offence for the driver or any passenger to not wear a seatbelt in any country in western Europe. On top of that the driver gets the fine for each passenger not wearing a belt.
Not only that, I doubt you'll find a company that will deactivate the chime as I believe it's an offence to tamper with safety systems regarding seatbelts.
Furthermore, if these systems are found to be tampered with then your MOT and insurance is void.
I just can't understand why passengers wouldnt want to wear a seatbelt, the world as moved on since the 1950s/60s & 70s.
I'd advise your passengers to watch videos on what happens when they don't wear a seatbelt. Needless to say, the one sat behind you can ultimately kill you as they hit the back of your seat!
