hi, thanks for accepting me into the forum...

i recently bought an interesting Audi (well, to me anyway!)... it is a 1999 A6 C5 Avant, but it has the 4.2v8 engine along with the wider arches and extended nose of the S6, but it looks pretty standard... so almost an S6 with the sporty fittings removed...

Goes well, whisper quiet at the moment, auto gearbox which numbs the driving experience a little.. but great fun..

I was told only 300 were made, this one being purchased originally from Audi Wimbledon

has anyone come across this model before and have a bit more info on it?

No info to help you on the car, but I have 3 of those wheels in decent nick if you need any spares. They don't show up on ebay often, so seem to be quite rare.
