A6 Avant Wing Mirror Issue

Afternoon guys,

I wondered if anyone could help me, recently I’ve noticed that my off side wing mirror glass starts shaking whilst driving at motorway speed. The mirror housing is fine, and has not been hit. I wondered if anyone else had experienced the same and had any ideas for a possible solution?

Sorry for the really late reply.It seems that this is a well known problem with the A6.I went to Harold Wood Audi and the guy there said the bonding on the back of the mirror itself has deteriorated due to the mirror heating. I had to buy a new mirror glass and had them fit it for me. Hope this helps
