Newbie needs advice on buying a TT

Good morning all,

As per the topic title. I am looking to buy a TT and would like to research what to look for and what to avoid. What is the 'avoid' mileage cut off point on a second hand TT? Any common faults to look out for? What model would you suggest? What would be a reasonable amount to spend, per model, for a clean car. You get the idea, I would really appreciate any input you guys could give me. Please redirect me to an existing post if easier.
