An Audi A3/A4 B7... as a first car!?

Hello 

Now this may seem like a really unserious question but I am in the market to buying an Audi A3/A4 for my first car! Surprisingly I can get the insurance at a “cheap” price for a 17/18 year old and the car model itself from anywhere between 1.5-2.5k. Would you guys recommend a car like this for a first car or am I being stupid and should get something more suitable , main reason for wanting an Audi is because I don’t want to get a corsa or something boring as a first car.
