I got a A3 on a x reg plate, 3 door, and my window on the passenger side goes down but then comes up and stops! then just goes back down. what can it be! NEED HELP!

Sounds like the window gets trapped which will make the window wind down.

Sounds like it has an obstruction when it winds itself up.

IIRC the clamps that hold the glass in place can come loose, should be a matter of just stripping down the door and adjusting these

I had nothing to add to Steve's obstruction theory as that was my first thought too. They immediately wind down if there's an obstruction to stop people from winding windows up on police officers trying to have a chat (if you know what I mean).

Anyway, Blackie has the correct solution.
