hi there people i drive a4 s line and been noticing that when i press the clutch that it feels a little rough selectin second can b dodgy at first but when cars warm no probs with selecting any gear but still hav a rough feelin when pressing and depressin any 1 have this problem or any ideas on this ..

Sounds like it might be grinding but I can't think of what. Maybe the actual clutch itself isn't disengaging properly.

hmm how old is the car?

maybe it's a faulty clutch pedal that is not engaging the clutch properly?

hi guys its a 08 plate and its cumin up to 5 years old when i press and let the clutch out theres no noise you expect from something grindin just the feelin under my foot like its grindin if that makes any sense

I bet the clutch is cable operated and not hydraulic. for the sake of a cheap cable i'd be inclined to try replacing that first.
