I have never had any problems took car out dropped roof electric, all fine went diy store roof still down locked door by key later wen home went to put roof up not happening all solenoid sounds working light on panel flashing then the boot won’t open by key or fob but once again all solenoids clicking working. any help please .ps can I open storage manually. If you can hear the solenoids then it would suggest your switch is working fine.

My first step would be to check the level of the hydraulic fluid in the convertible roof motor pump. If you’ve not done that before it’s in the boot on lower right hand side. You’ll need to remove the interior boot trim to get to it.

Alternatively, perhaps the handbrake switch is defective / stuck?
