Sunnyp9 Posted Wednesday at 03:14 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:14 PM (edited) Hi All, Recently bought my A3 8v 1.4 TSFI, decided to add some adaptations from my VCDS as I did the same with my A6. Anyways, long story short.... I'm getting the infamous message on my dashboard "Vehicle electronics fault. Shift to P before leaving vehicle. Please contact workshop". So when I decided to add a few adaptions through VCDS, I obviously ran a full scan on the car and it came back with the 2 error listed in the pictures. Was just wondering, how big of a problem is the (P0238 - Boost Sensor) code? I've ordered a new one and it's on the way. Regarding the Selector lever that's going to be looked at this Friday at my local VAG specialist mechanic as I know it seems to be a common fault but I'm hoping not too costly. Sunnyp9 Posted Wednesday at 04:49 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 04:49 PM Just to add, i’ve also been experience an increase in fuel consumption. I’m guessing this is down to the boost sensor fault or wiring issue!
