Navigation System Plus (RNS-E) system Radio Merory Issues

Featured Replies

Hello on a rainy Sunday from Oop North!

I have recently bought a 2008 A4 Avant S-Line and I'm having some issues
with the stereo, Its the Audi Navigation System Plus (RNS-E) system.

I have had the car sat on our drive and have tuned in all our required
radio stations, all strong signals, but then on the memory/station
select screen some of the stations become "grey'd out" and I can't
select them to listen to. I can do a manual tune and can then listen to
the station I want, but they all just seem to come and go in the memory.
I guess that if the signal is rather weak stations become grey, but all
the signals are strong enough to manual tune so why wont they stay
white and selectable in the memory???.

Has anyone else had any dealings with this issue???

I know its petty, but its a pain to have to re-tune all the way round
the numbers to reach the station your after each time you want to
change...

Also I have both our iPhone 4's synced over Bluetooth to make and
receive calls, but would like to be able to listen to the music from the
phone.

Does any one have any suggestions on the best way of doing this?

Does this system allow this? i.e. an AUX input?

In the owners book it says there is an option of a dock in the glove box but I'm guessing this is a very expensive addition???

Thanks in advance for any help and for taking time to read through my issues,

I think those kind of problems were solved today when using the android car headunit. There are many solutions than you can always find the right one, such as the interface for adapt bluetooth or something.
