A3 E 104 TDI 2008 Throttle loss

Hello. Thanks for looking in.

So I have a 2008 A3 E 104 TDI. As mentioned, it is having a problem with intermittent throttle loss. Almost feels like it's braking or dropping gear. 

The odb shows no error codes, no engine warning light. It doesn't make any unusual noises. Runs great for a while, 4 miles or so, then drags. I've noticed on hills the accelerator dies altogether until released, then ok for a second, then dies again.

Had it at the mechanics who replaced the butterfly valve, but it has not fixed the problem.  

It runs great, before it doesn't.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
