Oil Light

Featured Replies

I have been wokring on a Audi A3 1.9 TDI as a project car, it is more or less comeplete and ready for the road but there is one thing stopping me from doing this, the oil light.

When I put the key in and turn it I only get the following lights, door open, petrol, engine etc but no oil can light.

I would say this is a bad earth but I hvae done some basic checking and can't find a problem, there is oil pressure because it's making its make up the dipstick.

Can anyone shead some light on this problem please?  Anyone had the same problem?

Any answers welcome.

Cheers Matt.
