2024 A3 Matrix Headlights

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have standard LED headlights on my 2024 A3 Saloon UK RHD and wanting to fit Matrix.

Does anybody know if the existing wiring and connectors for the standard LED is the same for Matrix?

I was hoping to purchase Matrix headlights and simply swap out the LED without the need for further connectors to be fitted.

I have OBDeleven Pro for coding and adaptions on them.

Thanks, Steve.

I think there's a little more than swapping like for like and suspect you'll need VCDS v OBD11. If the headlights are second-hand then there might be component protection on them, given units new are £2k for each headlight. If that's the case, then you're looking at dealer-level software such as ODIS to remove.

Starter for ten look at parts on LLL parts and compare LED with LED Matrix.

Also search Kufatec, they supply additional wiring or complete headlight kits.

You could take the hassle out of this and simply go to an Audi retro-fitter.

Good advice, and I'll definitely look at an Audi retro fitting firm. I was always expecting to need to have them aligned properly once fitted anyway, so by the time I've messed about that may be the best way.
