MMI ‘Numbers Dialled’ issue

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Car is a 2012 Q3.

After updating my iPhone recently it doesn’t show my ‘Numbers Dialled’ anymore, it’s greyed out. I tried a reset of the MMI as well as disconnecting and reconnecting my Bluetooth. I went into my iPhone settings where ‘Sync Contacts’ is switched on. The only way I can get this resolved is by switching my phone off and then on which seems to reset it all. I then trialled it by turning my car off and on a few times to see if it would auto connect and load the ‘number dialled’ and it did. Problem solved! Or so I thought…

Whenever a significant amount of time passes between the car being off, it starts it all over again. So if I turn it on the next day, greyed out again.

Everything even came on in German this morning which I read was due to the super cold weather and the battery? I managed to change it back to English.

Does anyone know a more permanent work around or am I buggered?

thank you,

Carl

I took it for a battery test at Halfords and they said it was at 67% so it wouldn’t be that. Today was the first day it all worked normally again. So odd….
