Location of radiator fan control module?

Featured Replies

Hi,

having problems with my 2004 A3 Sport Quattro (3.2 litre VR6) radiator main fan which is running constantly and drain the battery and the car temperature gauge is not working either. Have change both the engine temperature sensor and the radiator temperature sensor with no joy. I’m now thinking the fan control module has a stuck relay or there is a broken wire between the radiator sensor and the control module.

However, I can’t locate the fan control  module. I’ve looked in all the suggested places, like on or near the fan shroud or under the battery tray, inner wing etc.. Has anyone know where this module is located on my my variant of the A3?

Thanks in advance Brian
