Oil cap missing on nearly new audi A5 advice needed.

Featured Replies

Hi, I need a bit of advice,

I collected my nearly new audi a5 last night and this evening I've realised the car is leaking oil, I've called audi cover out (RAC) who quickly diagnosed it as missing an oil cap from the manual oil check point, which means the engine bay is covered in oil.

My worry is that if the dealer missed the cap missing what else did they miss.

What damage may have been caused and what should I be getting the dealer to do to ensure no further damage has been caused?

Not happy as I only picked up the car last night, it's been in my possession for less than 24hrs!
