AUDI A3 1.9TDI 8P Pump Nozzle DTC18074

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I’ve got a 1.9tdi 8P that’s got the following fault on Carly adapter with a misfire. I started off by changing the injector seals, wiring loom (tested for continuity) then a whole injector and still have the same fault. I timed it using a gauge so all looked fine. It’s still misfiring/ running rough either way with the same code. I’m out of ideas.

I did get the injector from a seller that said the it came from a working car. I cant afford a new injector as they seem to be about £300. Wondering what are the chances I used a bad injector and if there’s anything else someone might suggest. Thought it could be the fueling but figured if it’s common rail these issues would be seen on other injectors too. Would appreciate any advice as I am happy to get another used injector i just cant afford a new one of if anyone can recommend a cheaper working brand or other things to check. I need this car for the next two months then can get rid. Just happened at a bad time.

Appreciate any advice
