Am in need of a valuation for agreed value insurance

The car has had a full nut and bolt restoration

Cost to restore has cost me over 65k in parts alone not including labour

Adrian flux have given me a quote for 80k agreed value but heard of them not paying out the true value if the claimed against

So would like valuation so can shop around

Try Peter James Insurance, but they too will probably need a professional valuation due to your insured value. Apologies, but I don’t think the forum can assist you with this, since no one will have access to the vehicle, leave alone the experience to certify your valuation.

I would suggest approaching some of the large classic auctioneers and seek advice there.

Thanks for the reply I’ve got a valuation on Monday spoke to them today they said they will struggle to a value on it due to only 11 left in the uk in blue and only one have sold in as many years

‘I’ve got a valuation on Monday..’ so does that mean you had a written valuation from ? last Monday, or if you have an appointment to get that written valuation on Monday coming?

‘….spoke to them today…’. Who did you speak to? - Valuation authority or some insurance company?

No I’ve got a valuation person coming Monday to look at the car

And his bone fides? Adequate to convince an insurance company to accept his valuation - if they want to business at that valuation?

What was his valuation as a matter of interest Nicholas?
