Remote control issue

Featured Replies

Hello guys!

2005 A4 B7 Avant

I hope that someone can help me with my problem.
I can lock it inside with the button, and the car locks above 20km/h.
But i cant lock or open it with the remote, only with the key hole.
When i open it with the key, only the driver's side door opens.
I replaced both CCM-s.
I replaced the driver side door wiring, and the driver side lock catch.
I've tried re-syncing the keys, replacing the battery, teaching the keys in the ignition and with vcds.
My only fault code in the comfort module is the alarm.(01134)
What can i do to make the remote control work?

Thank you

hmm yeah thats a weird one tbh 😅

since it locks from inside and while driving, the system itself is prob fine. feels more like the remote signal just isnt getting picked up. Even with a new battery the key can still be dead sometimes. if you’ve got a spare key try that if both do the same then its likely the receiver/antenna side, seen a few where wiring in the rear gets dodgy 👍
