Hi All,

I need some advice please....

I have bought something very much like this , but it came from Germany

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Male-3-5MM-Aux-Car-Audio-8PIN-mini-ISO-Radio-cable-Adapter-Blaupunkt-to-MP3-/121248631727?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AAudi%7CModel%3AA4&hash=item1c3afb4baf#ht_2867wt_850

it should fit my car perfectly , but a bluetooth nokia carkit was fitted before I got the car so there is not space for the blue block as they used seperate wires its not in a block? but there are spare conectors.... as I would like to keep the car kit

Has anyone seperated the wires from the block & if so what pins do they go on, before I cut up the block & do a bit of trial & error.

I will try and remember my stereo keys so I can take a pics of how it currently is at the back of the stereo... but any help would be great!

Cheers
Ben

if anyone else looking to do this I have worked it out!

firstly it turn's out my stereo is a concert 2 which means this cable doesn't work !

secondly if you pull the stereo out you need to take out the top bank of 3 in 1 big audi plug, then the connector where the cd boot loader would plug in is there,

if you just remobe that and don't cut down the blanking pluf then all you lose if the radio name on the cloack the top section is blank.

investigating ebay for the concert2 stereo you need one of these so not as cheap but still not bad
