Misfire on cylinder 3

Hi all

I am having a problem with my Audi :(. When it was hooked up to a diagnostics computer, it came up with misfire on cylinder 3. I have constant juddering when idling, and juddering between 1,000 and 2,000 revs when driving in 3rd to 6th gear.

I have a 59 plate 2.0 tdi 140ps engine. Can anyone help me?

Been A while since you posted this, any news?

 

Just to clarify I know nothing about Audis but apparently the 140ps version was knows for a few faults,

 

The only think i could think of with a Diesel engine misfiring, is either the Timing is off/Fuel Air ratio off or Dirty fuel producing a incomplete bang 

 

Could try some Diesel Redex perhaps? 

 

Thats it Im afraid, hopefully someone mechanically minded will be along soon
