Hi all,

I have a A4 (06 3.2 Quattro), now and again when I go to start the car it just ticks over, seems to want to start but then nothing. All the lights on the dashboard come on as usual but it doesn't start. i have to keep trying and trying Untill eventually it starts. Any ideas what this could be its really annoying me now ???

Also it's a clutch down first before starting.

when you say "Just ticks over" do you mean it cranks but doesn't start? ticks over suggests it's idling
